Jered Weaver has played his entire career with the Los Angeles Angels. He’s second in career wins with 150. Although, last night seemed like the beginning of the end for the 34-year old vet. Weaver exited the game early last night versus the A’s because of tightness in his lower back.
If you’ll recall, Weaver was diagnosed with degenerative changes in the vertebrae of his neck during spring training. Weaver explained that he would pitch as long as he could stand the pain.
The pain has held off for Weaver for this entire season, he’s probably had plenty of treatment throughout the season.
