After waiting 11 years in the minors LA Angels catcher Juan Graterol appeared in his first Major League game on September 2nd. Graterol promptly slashed an RBI-Double down the left field line during a wild ninth inning rally against Seattle. The rally fell short, but Graterol had his first taste of big league action.
Twelve days later Graterol got another chance this time in Anaheim against Seattle. Graterol again made the most of his opportunity going two for two with a run scored. Overall Graterol played in nine games in September and went four for fourteen with two doubles and three runs batted in.
