Two down, three to go. As of this time yesterday, there were five Angels players that were arbitration eligible: Danny Espinosa, Kole Calhoun, Garrett Richards, Martin Maldonado and Matt Shoemaker.
Espinosa was taken care of late yesterday afternoon, and this morning it appears we can scratch one more name off of that list. Kole Calhoun has settled with the Angels, to the tune of $6.35 mil. About this time last year, Calhoun settled with the Angels for $3.4 mil, but after yet another good season with the Halos, it was time to shell out some more dough to The Red Baron.
