Angels ink Kole Calhoun, avoiding arbitration

The Angels reportedly agreed Friday to a $6.35 million salary for Kole Calhoun in 2017, avoiding arbitration with their Gold Glove right fielder.

The Angels have three remaining arbitration eligible players, with the deadline for exchanging figures set for 10 a.m. PT on Friday. Once teams exchange figures, they can continue to negotiate all the way up until the beginning of the hearing. Hearings are scheduled in February.
