Angels Garrett Richards still trying to get all the way back to 2014 form

Coming back from a serious knee injury, Garrett Richards is having a solid season, but not quite as good as he was in 2014.

Richards, who starts on Saturday against the Cleveland Indians, has been the Angels most consistent starter throughout the season, with quality starts in a team-high 71 percent of his outings.

However, his other numbers are mostly down from the expectations he set with an outstanding 2014 season.

His earned run average has risen from 2.61 to 3.80, strikeouts down from 8.8 to 7.1 per nine innings and home runs tripled, from 0.
