Last nights win was capped off with two-run blast to centerfield by third baseman David Freese. Freese was given a double dose of the traditional gatorade bath the players get in each home victory. But, how much do Angels fans know about their third baseman?
Freese was drafted in 2006 by the San Diego Padres in the 9th round of the amateur draft. He would officially sign with the St. Louis Cardinals in 2009. Reese would break out in 2011, during the Cardinal’s postseason run, when he batted .545, with 12 hits, 7 runs scored, and three home runs.
