The trade deadline has finally arrived after months of rumors and speculation. With the deadline approaching in a few days, we are slowly starting to see more and more impactful moves throughout the league. The Angels have been relatively active in this process. Although they still haven’t addressed the big need in LF, the front office has done a nice job at adding depth. Connor Gillaspie and Shane Victorino were both low risk moves that will be important to round out the Angels bench going forward into the pennant race.
The trade for Shane Victorino today could prove to be a steal.
