'Our challenge to Harry Wilson: Become outstanding'

Since being handed the armband by former coach Michael Beale at the start of the season, the Welsh forward has flourished.

Wilson, who turned 20 last month, has netted 28 goals for the U23s this term and made his senior Liverpool debut against Plymouth Argyle in the FA Cup in January.

U23s boss Garrity feels his skipper is making impressive progress and has urged him to ‘become outstanding’.

“Harry has done very well and it doesn’t surprise me that he has scored so many goals - that’s what he does,” Garrity told Liverpoolfc.com.

“Harry is very good at getting in between defenders and when he does, in the final third he is extremely dangerous.
