Liverpool CEO Peter Moore has responded to persistent rumours linking his team with Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and tweets from fans, jokingly claiming the Reds won't sign the Gabon international because of his long name.
The Reds are on a long list of reported suitors of the former Milan man, with Bild (h/t Samuel Lovett of The Independent) reporting BVB will consider offers of £63 million for their ace striker.
That report led to plenty of fans urging Moore to sign the player, and he showed his sense of humour in response:
