Liverpool are within touching distance of glory and have already proved themselves to be the best among the Premier League's elite in head-to-head clashes, according to Reds legend Steven Gerrard.
Gerrard, who has taken over as manager of the Under-18 side at Liverpool, believes the senior team are on the path to great things under the leadership of Jurgen Klopp.
Ahead of the coming season, Gerrard believes his former club will be among the leading pack, and admits Klopp's side have already shown what they're capable.
'We've got a fantastic manager at the helm, so I think Liverpool are very, very close.
