Simon Mignolet has admitted his delight at the way he reacted to being dropped as Liverpool’s first-choice keeper, having seen himself reinstated as Jurgen Klopp’s number one.
The Belgian knew he would be playing the role of backup this term when Loris Karius was signed during the summer, and although he started the first five games of the campaign, the 28-year-old was named as a substitute when Karius recovered from an injury suffered in pre-season.
