Manchester City's Ilkay Gundogan and Arsenal's Mesut Ozil among stars from Premier League and across Europe to celebrate Eid

Following the end of Ramadan, Premier League footballers and those from across Europe have been celebrating Eid.

The religious holiday, which is celebrated by Muslims worldwide to mark the end of Ramadan, was clearly very much enjoyed by some of the sport's biggest names on Sunday.

Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan, who is currently recovering from a cruciate knee ligament injury, took to Instagram to post a photo of himself outside a mosque, with the caption: 'Enjoy your Ramazan Bayramu0131.'

Meanwhile, fellow Premier League star and Germany international Mesut Ozil used his Instagram page to upload an Arsenal themed photo while wishing Muslims a 'blessed Eid.
