Kelechi Iheanacho has been to see a specialist over the injured toe that threatens to keep him out of Leicester's game against Brighton.
Craig Shakespeare revealed the problem, picked up in the pre-season friendly against Borussia Monchengladbach, continues to cause issues for the £25million striker.
Iheanacho came off the bench to play the final eight minutes of the opening night defeat at Arsenal but may be ruled out of Saturday's fixture.
Shakespeare said: 'He didn't train on Thursday.
