Leicester's head of recruitment Eduardo Macia faces an uncertain future after the sacking of Claudio Ranieri, the Mail on Sunday understands.
Macia was appointed last summer on the recommendation of Ranieri but with the Italian gone and scrutiny on transfer dealings mounting his position could be at risk.
The 42-year-old replaced Steve Walsh, who became Everton's director of football, but has experienced an underwhelming success rate in the market.
Walsh earned a reputation for unearthing gems by signing N'Golo Kante, Riyad Mahrez and Jamie Vardy for less than £7million but the jury is still out on most of Macia's purchases.
