Leicester City owner bragged he was going to sack Claudio Ranieri while out buying £500,000 wine, claims West Ham vice-chairman Karren Brady

Leciester City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was overheard boasting of the sacking of Premier League winning manager Claudio Ranieri while out buying expensive wine, it is alleged.

Ranieri was axed as manager of the Foxes following their narrow Champions League first leg defeat to Sevilla, but while Srivaddhanaprabha later said it was one of the toughest decisions he has ever made, reports have emerged on the contrary.

West Ham vice-chairman Karren Brady has confirmed an incident occurred whereby Srivaddhanaprabha was out shopping for expensive wines in London's Mayfair district while seemingly boasting to the director of another Premier League that Ranieri would be receiving the chop.
