Leicester 1-0 Porto: 'Dragon Slayer' Islam Slimani puts visitors to the sword with trademark header on Foxes' Champions League home debut

Leicester City continued their Champions League honeymoon period with a 1-0 victory over Porto on their home debut of the competition.

New signing Islam Slimani, known as the 'Dragon Slayer' because of his knack for netting against Porto during his time at Sporting Lisbon, opened the scoring with a typically brave header from Riyad Mahrez's cross.

Porto substitute Jesus Corona rattled the upright with a deflected shot in the closing minutes, but the Foxes held out to top Group G with two wins from as many games.
