Claudio Ranieri is ready to send Jamie Vardy back into action against Chelsea after the Leicester striker celebrated the birth of his baby boy this week.
Vardy has not played since being sent off against Stoke on December 17 but Ranieri said the FWA Footballer of the Year has trained well and is set to start for the visit of Antonio Conte’s Premier League leaders.
Vardy turned 30 on Wednesday, having welcomed into the world his second child with wife Rebekah on Sunday night.
'He’s very happy,’ said Ranieri.
