N'Golo Kante may never have joined Leicester and taken the Premier League by storm if he had had his own way in the summer of 2015.
The French midfielder has revealed he wanted to join Marseille when he departed Ligue 2 minows Caen.
Instead he moved to Claudio Ranieri's side, won the league title in his debut season and is now on course to repeating the trick at Chelsea.
The 25-year-old has opened up to French TV station Canal +, admitting: 'Among the clubs that most wanted to recruit me were Marseille and Leicester.
