Linebacker Josh Forrest was the only Kentucky player taken in the 2016 NFL Draft.
Forrest was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams with the 190th overall pick in the 6th round.
Several other Wildcats have received free agent deals or invitations:
– Offensive tackle Jordan Swindle will join the Rams as a free agent
– Defensive lineman C.J. Johnson will join the Atlanta Falcons
– Long snapper Kelly Mason will get a look from the Washington Redskins
– Defensive lineman Melvin Lewis has signed with the New York Giants
