My, what a difference a win makes. Despite a rough start to the season, Kentucky’s victory over South Carolina was enough for ESPN’s Brett McMurphy to put the Cats back in his bowl projections. McMurphy predicts the Cats will take on Wake Forest in the Camping World Independence Bowl in Shreveport, Louisiana on December 26 at 5 p.m.
I don’t know if Saturday’s win showed me enough to believe the Cats will go bowling, but in the dumpster fire that is the SEC East, stranger things will probably happen.
