New Charles Matthews highlights of stellar senior season (video)

The Kentucky Wildcats’ first 2015 commitment came from four-star shooting guard Charles Matthews.

The Chicago (Ill.) St. Rita product averaged 21.3 points and 6.2 rebounds per game while shooting 47 percent from the field in leading the Mustangs to a 26-4 record this past season.

Matthews will now be relied on to play significant minutes, possibly even starting for UK as a freshman. Though he doesn’t have the lofty five-star ranking many of the Cats’ biggest recruits have, Matthews certainly has the potential to be an impact player, at least based on these new highlights by Ball is Life:
