LEXINGTON, Ky. – Reggie Jagers III, AJ Stevens and Danniel Thomas each finished in the top-12 of their respective events Saturday at the NCAA East Region Prelims, punching their tickets to the 2017 NCAA Track and Field Championships in Eugene, Ore.
After waiting through a lengthy lightning delay, Jagers earned his fourth-career trip to the national championships in the discus, taking third-place on Saturday with a mark of 61.22m (200' 10"). Already a three-time All-American, Jagers will look to improve upon his seventh-place from last years national championships. Trevor Detillion also competed in the discus, finishing 40th with a mark of 50.
