Talbot's Overtime Goal Gives Flashes 3-2 Win

FARMVILLE, Va. – Five minutes into the overtime period, Shannon Talbot was subbed into the game and made her time on the turf count, scoring off a pass from Krysti Lober to give the Flashes a 3-2 overtime win at Longwood.

The victory improves Kent State to 6-4 on the season and 2-0 in conference play. Longwood drops to 6-4 and 0-1 in the MAC.

Scoring didn't get started until Longwood took an early lead at the 28th minute of the match. After the break, Ines Delpech rifled in a straight shot at 40:05 to tie the game.
