SILVER LAKE, Ohio – The No. 15 Kent State University women's golf team stretched its lead at the 2017 MAC Women's Golf Championship, hosted by the Golden Flashes at the Silver Lake Country Club.
Kent State remains in first place after round two at 11-over par 587 (289-298). The temperature dropped throughout round two, making for tough conditions at Silver Lake. However, Kent State stretched its lead to 19 strokes over Ohio and Northern Illinois. The Flashes are ahead of the remaining field by 30.
Michaela Finn had the best round of any golfer Saturday at 2-under 70.
