COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 12 Kent State University men's golf team leads after two rounds at the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate at Ohio State's Scarlett Course.
The Golden Flashes are 11-over par at 579 (294-285) through 36 holes. Kent State is in a tight race against No. 10 Illinois, who are one stroke back. The remainder of the field is at least14 strokes back, led by third-place Iowa at 25-over par.
Individually, Chase Johnson is the overall leader at 2-over par 144. Johnson holds a slim lead, with 11 golfers within two strokes of him.
