Men's Basketball to Tour Costa Rica

KENT, Ohio – The Kent State University men's basketball team is set to travel to Costa Rica from Aug. 11-18 to compete in three exhibition games.

The trip is the first foreign tour for the Golden Flashes since 2013. Kent State's trip to Costa Rica's capitol, San Jose, and Los Suenos is highlighted by a game against the Costa Rican National Team. Kent State will also compete against Canadian intercollegiate programs Laurentian University and McGill University.

"The upcoming tour of Costa Rica is going to be an excellent experience for our guys," said head coach Rob Senderoff.
