Kent State recently announced the addition of Boise State transfer Will Bardezbain (Chehalis, Wash.) to its wrestling team. With one year of eligibility remaining, Bardezbain will compete for a starting spot at 125 pounds.
In two seasons at Barton Community College, Bardezbain became the program's first All-American, finishing fifth at the 2016 NJCAA Championships. This past season at Boise State, he placed third at the PAC-12 Championships.
Bardezbain was a three-time state qualifier at W.F. West High School where he also earned three letters in cross country.
The Flashes will have 11 new members on its 2017-18 roster, joining a group that includes nine returning starters.
