Eighty Kansas State students will put their hands on the Bill Snyder statue outside Kansas State’s football stadium on Saturday morning. Last one off gets a free trip to the Wildcats’ 2016 opener at Stanford.
The K-State athletic department is sponsoring the contest. Students can also choose to put their hands on the gate entrance a few feet behind the statue.
The contest begins at 10 a.m. Saturday and will last until there’s a winner, with a 31-hour time limit. If multiple students remain then, K-State will decide a winner through a “bracketed rock-paper-scissors contest.”
K-State opens the season at Stanford on Sept.
