Kickoff for Kansas State’s football game against Missouri State will be delayed due to inclement weather.

K-State athletic officials have not determined the length of the delay.

The game was scheduled to start at 6:10 p.m. on Saturday at Bill Snyder Family Stadium, but a series of storms prevented the game from beginning on time.

Puddles were noticeable on the playing field less than an hour before the original start time.

The game can’t start until 30 minutes go by without a lighting strike within a visible radius of the stadium, plus the teams get 60 minutes to warm up.
