MANHATTAN — Balance was key Saturday night as the Kansas State women swept their second straight Sunflower Showdown 81-67.
Four players scored in double figures for the Cats led by junior forward Breanna Lewis who put up 24 points and 10 rebounds to lead all players. It was the junior’s ninth career double-double.
“It feels good,” Lewis said. “It’s a rivalry game so you look forward to it every year, to beating them every year.”
Senior guard Megan Deines (15), sophomore guard Kaylee Page (10) and senior guard Bri Craig (10) also scored in double figures.
