STILLWATER, Okla. — A week ago, Kansas State’s basketball season was on the rise after a victory over then-No. 1 Oklahoma. Fast forward to the present and two losses have the Wildcats in danger of having their season fall apart.
A home loss to a ranked Baylor team was one thing but K-State had a prime chance to stay afloat Saturday at Oklahoma State, a team that had lost five of six games beginning with a 16-point loss in Manhattan.
The Wildcats didn’t seize the opportunity, losing 58-55 in overtime to the Cowboys.
“I appreciate how hard they work and I appreciate all we’ve gone through with the tough losses,” K-State coach Bruce Weber said.
