As JT reported, the BatCats upended the 4th-ranked South Carolina Gamecocks 6-5 in Columbia yesterday. It’s the second game in a row that K-State’s baseball team has gotten revenge against a school which ended another K-State team’s season in the last 12 months; South Carolina knocked the Wildcat women out of the NCAA basketball tournament last year, and Sunday’s victimization of Ohio State was payback for the volleyball team’s early departure in the NCAA volleyball championship.
