Marcus Foster announces transfer to Creighton; Isaiah Maurice commits to K-State basketball

Marcus Foster is gone, and Kansas State has moved on.

The Wildcats filled one of three open basketball scholarships by receiving an oral commitment from Isaiah Maurice on Sunday, shortly before Foster took to Twitter to announce his transfer to Creighton.

“Time to get back to work!” Foster tweeted. “Officially a Creighton Blue Jay.”

Maurice visited the K-State campus over the weekend and chose the Wildcats over offers from several schools including Cincinnati, LaSalle, Eastern Michigan and UTEP.

Maurice is a 6-foot-9, 215-pound forward from Durham, N.C. The three-star Rivals prospect averaged 21 points and 10 rebounds as a senior for Bull City Prep.
