Kansas State Basketball Recruiting: Coveted 2016 Shooting Guard Visits Manhattan

Just days after dropping his commitment to SMU, 2016 shooting guard LeGerald Vick is starting to fill up his visit schedule. His first stop? The Kansas State Wildcats.

Here's NBC Sports' Raphielle Johnson with the report:

According to Rivals.com the Memphis native, who originally committed to SMU, will visit Kansas State, Kansas and Kentucky over the next seven days. Kansas State will host Vick this weekend, with Kansas doing so in the middle of next week and Kentucky next weekend.

When Vick committed to SMU he was expected to take a prep year, thus pushing him into the Class of 2016. But with his decision to reopen his recruitment, it was also reported that Vick is considering a move back into the 2015 class. That would make him an intriguing prospect for all three programs he’s scheduled to visit, as each could use another body in its perimeter rotation.

Vick would be a huge get for a Kansas State squad down two perimeter players (Tre Harris, Marcus Foster) to transfers. They're in need of some rebuilding in the backcourt, and Vick could very well be the centerpiece of those plans.
