Well it was definitely a slow news weekend and a slow weekend at RCT. Not much out there today but here goes.
The 2017 NBA Draft had a record number of college freshman selected in the first round. Matt Tait ponders if that’s the most we’ll ever see because of potential changes to the one-and-done rule. (Tait also calls Michael Wilbon a basketball analyst, which seems like a stretch to me.)
Jeff Graves is the owner and head coach of a minor-league women’s basketball team in Kansas City, and is trying to organize an AAU program for girls in the area.
