LAWRENCE — Landen Lucas has been around the block once or twice.
Entering his senior season at Kansas, the big man knows what to expect. He’s heard the same thing from the coaches every year. Nothing catches him off guard.
“You come in here and every year the expectations are the same and nothing has changed. The talks that (coach Bill Self gives) are the same,” Lucas said, starting to crack a smile. “I’ve heard the same stuff over and over again every year. We live by the same rules and we have the same goals and everything.
