Another McDonald’s All-American is headed to Kansas. This one, though, is slated for the women’s basketball program.
North Carolina transfer Jessica Washington, a former McDonald’s All-American guard from Tulsa, Okla., will join the KU women’s basketball program, Kansas women’s coach Brandon Schneider announced Tuesday.
Washington, who spent two seasons at North Carolina, was the No. 14 overall player in the class of 2013, according ESPN’s HoopGurlz rankings. She averaged 7.3 points and 2.4 rebounds per game as a sophomore at North Carolina.
