Royals Rumors: GM Dayton Moore talks trade deadline, sellers?

In today's Royals rumors and news update, Kansas City Royals general manager Dayton Moore isn't ready to give up on the current construction of his team regardless of the fact that the team is under .500 heading into Monday's action.

According to Jon Morosi of FOX Sports 1, Moore still has plenty of faith in the guys currently on the roster, staying away from the "seller" tag when discussing the direction of the organization:

Rather than looking outside of what he has on hand, Moore is putting the onus on the team to make the adjustments necessary to improve their standing in the AL Central and AL Wild Card races:

Moore might be right to remain steady heading into the final two months-plus. Despite sitting seven games behind the Tigers for the division lead, the Royals are just 3.5 games behind the Mariners for the AL's second Wild Card spot. One good run and the Royals could be legitimate top-tier contenders in a wide-open American League.
