When the Kansas City Royals signed Kendrys Morales, they had visions of the hitter he was from 2009 through 2013 dancing in their heads. So far, he has delivered exactly what the Royals had hoped. Morales’ power was on display tonight, as he accounted for all of the Royals offense in their 5-0 victory over the Cardinals.
Morales did not wait to get the offensive fireworks started. After Alcides Escobar led off the bottom of the first with a walk, Lorenzo Cain had a one out base hit to right.
