KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The signs of a short work week in progress are in evidence everywhere this week at Kansas City Chiefs' headquarters. Coaches are bunking at the office rather than spend the time commuting. Players are preparing for another physical contest despite the aches and pains of a recently played game.
The Thursday night game is a burden every team must face during the course of a season. It’s the Chiefs' turn this week. They'll play against the Oakland Raiders at Arrowhead Stadium.
"They're tough to get ready for," coach Andy Reid said.
