Recent news reports suggest two of the Chiefs’ early-season opponents can or will be without key players when they play against Kansas City. The Texans’ J.J. Watt had back surgery that puts into peril his ability to play in a Sept. 18 game against the Chiefs in Houston.

This morning comes word that Pittsburgh’s Le'Veon Bell will be suspended for the season’s first four games for a violation of the NFL’s substance-abuse policy.
