In November of 2014, All Pro Safety Eric Berry‘s season was cut short when the Kansas City Chiefs medical staff found a mass in his chest. He was diagnosed with having Hodgkin lymphoma, a form of cancer which attacks the lymphatic system.
Fortunately for Berry, the doctors caught the mass early, and believed they would be able to not only treat it, but potentially cure him completely. Fast forward six months later, and Berry has completed his treatments and is awaiting the results.
Head Coach Andy Reid seems very optimistic for the diagnosis.
