Josh Wells re-signs with Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars have re-signed third-year offensive lineman Josh Wells.

Wells has appeared in 17 career games at offensive line and on special teams for the Jaguars after originally signing with the club as an undrafted free agent on May 14, 2014. In 2016, Wells spent the first 11 weeks of the 2016 season on the team’s injured reserve list (thumb) before being activated and appearing in the team’s final five games of the year. Wells spent the 2015 season on injured reserve with a thumb injury.

After signing with the Jaguars in 2014, Wells was one of three undrafted rookies to make the opening day roster, joining fellow offensive lineman Tyler Shatley and wide receiver Allen Hurns.
