Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey announced on Twitter Tuesday he has returned to running after undergoing core muscle surgery two weeks ago.
Ramsey closed his 2016 rookie campaign as PFF’s 21st-highest graded cornerback with a mark of 82.3.
He allowed 52.9% of passes thrown in his coverage to be caught, which was the sixth-lowest rate for cornerbacks that faced at least 56 targets.
Ramsey finished strong in his final six games. From Weeks 12-17, his 45.8 passer rating against was the second-lowest rating for a cornerback that played at least 70 coverage snaps.
