We’re almost into December and the Jacksonville Jaguars are in a completely unfamiliar place for this time of the year – the playoff hunt.
After not being anywhere near the postseason since 2010, the Jaguars are finally on those little graphics that they show on broadcasts where they display teams “in the hunt” for a playoff spot.

It’s been somewhat tongue in cheek to mention the Jaguars as a playoff contender thanks to their terrible division, but the Jaguars have a legitimate shot at the wild card as well. With the second wild card spot likely to be a 9-7 or 8-8 team, the Jaguars have as good a shot as anyone else with 4+ wins to make it to the postseason.
