Jacksonville Jaguars Free Agency 2017: 5 tight ends to consider

The slow development of the Julius Thomas to Miami Dolphins trade (not official until March ninth at the start of the new league year) has made it clear that the Jacksonville Jaguars need a new starting tight end. Trading away a starter, even an under-performing one, opens up a vacancy with the team.

The Jags may address tight end in the 2017 NFL Draft but it is also important to keep an eye on free agency where there are plenty of options for the team to pursue. At the end of the day it doesn’t matter where the Jags find their next stud tight end.
