Do-it-all Tyson Alualu offers Jaguars much-needed flexibility this week against Cincinnati

Whenever and wherever.

That’s the motto defensive lineman Tyson Alualu has practically lived by during his six seasons with the Jaguars and what is again making the team’s longest-tenured defensive player an important piece this preseason.

Whenever: Alualu hasn’t missed a regular-season game since being selected in the first round of the 2010 draft. Since coach Gus Bradley took over, Alualu has played 66.4 percent of the defensive snaps in 2013, 41.3 percent in 2014 and 59.2 percent (plus 27 offensive snaps) last season.

Wherever: The latest example of that will come Sunday night against Cincinnati.
