The Jaguars’ first training camp practice is an hour away. Could this be the final training camp for kicker Josh Scobee, the current longest-tenured player on the roster?

Scobee, 33, starts his 12th year as the franchise’s all-time leader in points (1,022) and field goals (235, on 291 attempts). But his contract expires after the year; his cap number this year is $4.388 million.

“It’s an important year,” Scobee said recently. “Hopefully I’ll go out, have a great year and re-sign here for however long.”

Scobee was 20-of-26 on field goal last year and had 35 touchbacks on 59 kickoffs.
