JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Former Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Geno Hayes is speaking out about his health.
Hayes, who has been rumored to have lingering knee issues, took to Twitter on Monday morning to set the record straight:
The 27-year-old played for the Jaguars for the last two seasons. In 30 games (25 starts), Hayes produced 128 tackles, three sacks, four pass breakups, two interceptions and two forced fumbles. He played in all 16 games last season for Jacksonville.
Hayes went to Florida State University and was a sixth round pick in 2008. The seven-year veteran has also played for the Chicago Bears and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
