3 Draft Day Trades The Jacksonville Jaguars Could Make

The 2015 NFL Draft is under a month away, which means draft trade rumors are about to get extremely loud around the league. The Jacksonville Jaguars are one team that could be in the mix for some draft day hijinx, but what/who exactly would they look to trade for? Here’s 3 Draft Day Trades The Jacksonville Jaguars Could Make.

1. Trade #3 pick to Cleveland for #12 & #19 picks and a 4th-rounder (#111) in 2015

How much does Cleveland need/want a franchise quarterback not named Johnny Manziel or Josh "Replacement Level" McCown? That's the question here. If Browns management is truly ready to punt on the Manziel era already and go after Oregon's Marcus Mariota, the Jags could easily net both of the Browns' 1st-round picks and a 4th or 5th rounder -- a very nice haul in what is one of the deepest drafts in recent memory.

2. Trade #3 pick to New York Jets for #6 pick, 2nd round (#37), and 4th round (#104) picks in 2015

Less of a haul than what they could potentially command from Cleveland, this is still an intriguing scenario in that it keeps the Jags squarely in the top six of the first round and assures them of a top-flight pass rusher if they decide to go that way. If Florida's Dante Fowler Jr. or USC's Leonard Williams don't free-fall out of the top five, the Jags could still land a game-changer like Clemson OLB Vic Beasley.

3. Trade #3 pick to Philadelphia for #20 pick, 2nd (#52) and 6th round (#195) picks in 2015, and a 2016 first-rounder

The ultimate value proposition, the Jags might even be able to con Eagles decision maker/head coach Chip Kelly out of more than the fair value asserted above. Kelly has shown a gambler's propensity to overspend compared to risk, and the Jags could maximize their draft-pick return in 2015 and 2016 by playing into that.
